Vera Tennis

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply whenever you use the Vera Tennis website or booking system, or enrol a player in a Vera Tennis program. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Accounts

One family account covers every player in your household. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and you’re responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your login secure.

Requests and enrolments

Requesting a class, lesson or clinic place isn’t a confirmed booking — every request is reviewed by Vera Tennis before it’s approved. A player isn’t enrolled until their request has been approved and payment has been received.

Minimum group numbers

Group classes need enough players to run. Foundations classes need at least 3 children enrolled; Pickleball needs at least 4 people. If a class doesn’t reach its minimum, we’ll be in touch — we may kindly ask whether you’d consider a different time, or in some cases continue running the group at lower numbers for a term.

Payments

Card payments are processed securely through Stripe — your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our own systems. If you’d prefer to pay by bank transfer or another method, contact us directly to arrange it.

Cancellations and refunds

Vera Tennis works on a credit-first basis — if a session needs to be moved or missed, our aim is always to get you back on court, not process a refund. Refunds are only ever considered as a last resort or for exceptional circumstances.

  • Regular weekly classes — missed a session? Request a make-up credit from your account and we’ll get you into another session once it’s approved. Withdrawing partway through a term: unused sessions are credited toward a future term, not refunded.
  • Private lessons — cancelling with at least 24 hours’ notice earns a credit toward a future lesson. Less notice than that may not be eligible, though we’re generally understanding of genuine circumstances. If Vera Tennis needs to cancel a private lesson, we’ll first offer an alternative time; if nothing suitable is available, you’ll receive a credit to use whenever a suitable time comes up.
  • Holiday clinics — cancelling a booked day with at least 48 hours’ notice earns a credit for that day. For genuine illness or injury, we’ll credit the day regardless of notice — just let us know.
  • Cardio Tennis packs — credits don’t expire. If you don’t use them straight away, they’re simply waiting for you.
  • If Vera Tennis cancels a session — weather, coach availability or similar — you’ll always receive a credit. Refunds in this situation are only issued for special events or as an absolute last resort.

Code of conduct

We expect respectful behaviour from every player, parent and spectator on court. Vera Tennis may refuse entry to, or suspend, anyone whose behaviour puts others’ safety or enjoyment at risk.

Assumption of risk

Tennis and related physical activity carry an inherent risk of injury. By enrolling a player, you acknowledge this risk and participate at your own risk. Vera Tennis takes reasonable care for participants’ safety but, to the extent permitted by law, isn’t liable for injury except where caused by our negligence.

Photos and video

We only use photos or video of a player for marketing if you’ve given consent — see our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the booking system after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
